Unit of Porcine Health Management
The unit of porcine health performs clinically oriented research with the overall aim to improve the health and welfare of pigs, the animal production and farm profitability, the veterinary public health and the societal acceptance of pig production. The research focusses on the following topics: Infectious diseases e.g.PRDC; Disease conditions important for veterinary public health e.g. Salmonella and important for animal welfare; Fertility problems and reproductive performance; Production diseases and Clinical case reports
